I CAN SOAR, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization created to make a positive difference in the lives of the next generation of young women by providing intense, focused weekend workshops on basic life skills. These workshops will prepare the young ladies to become fully functioning and knowledgeable in how to transition from dependent to independent living. We will provide accommodations to ensure the best learning environment.
We know that learning is more effective when you have an excellent teacher. That’s why we have educators that have achieved an advanced degree or years of expertise in their field. Our instructors are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their workshops.
Our curriculum is focused on the following topics: finances, social issues, etiquette, and health. A directory with resource information, and tips shared in each workshop will be provided at the end of the weekend. Also incorporated in the weekend training will be fun outdoor activities, and bonding opportunities which we hope will establish lifelong friendships.
